Using the Grappleshot, scale the side using the support beams as ledges. This is much easier if you've upgraded the Grappleshot twice to unlock the 40% shorter cooldown. To do it, you're going to need to climb to the top of the Tower. The Weapon will tell you the signal is coming from the tower, so it's time to fight our way in.īefore you go inside, you'll have the opportunity to claim the IWHBYD skull. Once you get to the waypoint, keep driving to the tower that should be straight ahead of you. Chief doesn't have to kill everyone he sees, after all. Don't worry about stopping to take them out, you can generally drive past them on your way to the destination. On the way, you may run across small groups of Banished. You can also open up your map and set a waypoint to the source of the signal to make it easier to find when you're cruising around. When you're ready to proceed with the main path, it's time to head to that UNSC signal.īack at your FOB, You can summon a Mongoose to get to your destination much faster. You can rescue UNSC soldiers, go to the Ransom Keep, and search for Spartan Cores that you can use to upgrade Chief. Thanks to your FOB, certain icons have appeared on your map, indicating side missions and collectibles to go get. This is where things start to open up on Zeta Halo. This audio log is not counted towards the mission total. You can check the list of potential unlocks in the menu.įrom the terminal, turn left and you'll see a UNSC audio log leaning up against a pile of sandbags near the edge of the platform. Eventually, you will unlock more enemies, marines, and weapons to deploy at your FOBs by earning Valor. Now, you have your first FOB! For starters, you can summon a Mongoose to drive around the world. Once the FOB is clear of enemies, you can claim it at the terminal in the center of the platform. When you head to it, watch out for the one Jackal hiding behind the largest crate in the back right of the platform. From here, you should be able to take out most of the Grunts, clearing the FOB platform. Once that's done, the Grunts are sure to notice you've made some noise, so hop out of the turret and hide behind the rocks in this area for cover. You can quickly hop into it to take out two Brutes that are patrolling the FOB. Head down the hill towards the FOB, and you should see a turret. You won't have much cover so it's easy to get killed. You can go to FOB Golf or FOB Foxtrot first. You'll also gain more support from random Marines at areas should you continue taking back the ring. Doing so will give you the ability to call in all kinds of support as you increase your Valor, a point system that marks how much territory the UNSC has on the ring.
